I like to make paintings that feature boldly coloured real and imaginary landscapes, environments, modernist architecture and other man made structures. So far my work varies from images of everyday urban landscapes, architecture and vistas, that focus on qualities natural and man made light and patterns created using purely saturated colour. To images of completely imaginary escapist environments that bring to mind fictional dystopias or imaginary  film sets, containing loose and uncontrived transient narratives.  

My main sources of inspiration and starting points include the natural world and the built urban environment, modernist and contemporary architecture and other man made structures, film, music, high/low culture, fine art, graphics, fact v fiction, reality and fantasy.
